On top of that he has also announced an upcoming fork of a Sharp X68000 emulator that will focus on the user-interface and debugging features. Romance of the Forgotten Kindom: First fully playable fan translation of a Korean RPG

After one and-a-half years, the fan translation for the Korean DOS RPG Mangguk Jeon’gi (망국전기), or Romance of the Forgotten Kingdom, is finally released. This is the first ever fully playable fan translation of a Korean game!
The current version 0.9 is not 100% complete because of some hacking issues, but the whole story with both optional paths is fully playable in English.
While it is hard to find information on the game in English, a google search for the original Korean title (망국전기) should bring up some useful results.
Xanadu Next English translation released!!!

Hello guys. After two years of development the English translation patch for the beautiful Xanadu Next is ready. The patch translates everything in the game: text, graphics, menus etc. We added some improvements to the game in order to display the translated text correctly. Deep Dungeon IV Translation Finished

I have finished my translation patch for Deep Dungeon IV for the Famicom/NES. This is an all-new translation featuring expanded text and menus. It should be complete and bug-free. Translation and editing by odino and snark, and a little further by me.
Definitely worth a play. This one features a non-linear structure. It is also much less dependent on RNG luck than the prior games. And thus it is perhaps easier than the others.
So, now this only leaves III as the last untranslated Deep Dungeon. Still plan to finish that one, too. Don’t know when though. That game is kind of unbalanced and has a couple dumb things in it (like characters randomly fumbling, and thus de-equipping, their weapons). :P
Adventures of Arle Retranslation: 9 years later

Alrighty, this is an old project I did back in 2002. I have almost redone everything since the previous version listed Adventures of Arle by PokeUSA. At the moment I am still working on much of the dialogue since the last version was all over the show. The dialogue now is 100% more accurate.
- New font inserted giving it a more original look than the Pokemon one I put in originally.
- Complete re-translation of all names, spells, items, menus and dialogues.
- Menu’s have been re-sized to look cleaner and translate more accurately.
- Removed the capitalization of spells, names and nouns.
- Almost all battle dialogue is translated to read in full.
Things to know!
Some spell names and Monster names have currently been shortened due to many of the literal translations and there are no English names for them i.e. Knight Puppet is now Knitepet (same thing just shortened to more of a name). Not a big deal.
Will have a release as soon as I complete all status information, new title screen to the crap one I made 9 years ago and also at least up to the first battle of dialogue translated.

Final Fantasy V Sound Restoration

The Game Boy Advance of Final Fantasy V featued a terrible port of the music, with aggressive instruments. This hack was made to fix this problem by re-inserting back the original SNES soundtrack in the GBA game.
In this version 2.0, the Final Fantasy V Advance Sound Restoration hack has been completely remade from scratch in a new version, using the same technique used in the Final Fantasy VI advance patch, where the soundtrack was entirely re-sequenced.
The hack also changes a few sound effects, and features a fully orchestrated introduction !
As a plus, this hack also greatly reduces lagging problems that were introduced by reducing the CPU usage for mixing sound. Now all spells will play their animations at the original SNES rate.

17/10/2011 - Project Announcement There has been much debate within this project about when it could be the right time to make this announcement – is there even a right time? We couldn’t really answer that, however we thought now is as good a time as any: when we have progress to show and are happy to invite help! So, with that I am happy to announce a new translation project for Tales of Rebirth (PS2 and PSP).
The project really began in 2010, when it escalated into a full team of hackers, translators, editors and any other roles you can think of! We’re all happy with the progress made, but there is still much left to do, so, even though this post is an announcement of the project, you can think of it as an advertisement for help. Choro Q3 English Translation Released!

This patch translates the amazingly fun PSX game Choro Q3, the third and last game made by Tamsoft, the creators of this now very long series by TAKARA.
Choro Q3 has 100 customizable cars, more than 40 completely different tracks, a big city to explore, 100 hidden “events” to find, great two-player modes, lots of extras, and, most importantly, excellent gameplay. Most fans consider Choro Q3 as the best one in the series!
Trans. Note: I’m still an absolute beginner in Japanese, and my English is not very good; but since this is just a racing game without any kind of story or dialogues, I hope you won’t mind all the Engrish that you may find. This was my first hack, I hope you like it!
