Spelling correction of the word "Assohles", I fixed the typo and changed it to "Assholes". I also capitalized the words "French", and "English" in the description section. I got the following errors when I attempted to submit my corrections so I had to download, resize, and upload/change the images as well: 1. Nangoku Shounen Papuwa-Kun: Ganmadan no Yabou (GB) English Patch Released!

02 April 2017 7:34AM EST - Update by MrFwibbles

Translations News - RHDN Project Page

Mr Fwibbles (the guy behind the English translation of Grandia: Parallel Trippers) is back with a new English translation patch, this time for the obscure Game Boy action puzzle game, Nangoku Shounen Papuwa-Kun: Ganmadan no Yabou! Note that the game is completely different to the Super Famicom Papuwa game.

This was a relatively simple project with no major hurdles to speak of, however the title screen and intro splash screens have not been translated.

More information and screenshots are provided in the zip.

Roll-chan World GAMEBOY - Player Sprite hack RELEASED!

26 March 2017 11:35PM EST - Update by Zynk Oxhyde

ROM Hacks News - RHDN Project Page

In commemoration of Mega Man’s 29th Anniversary and beyond!

Zynk Oxhyde previously released ROLL-CHAN for the NES! Roll-chan is a player sprite hack which replaces Mega Man with his sister Roll. Today Zynk releases FIVE new player sprite hacks, but this time for the GAMEBOY, ROLL-CHAN WORLD!

Continue the super robot girl’s adventure in saving the world against the evil Dr. Wily, the mad scientist who, once more, attempts to fulfill his ambition of world domination.

Just like before in the NES, Roll is joined by her trusty pet robot cat Tango, replacing the role of Rush the robot dog. All sprites and custom sprite arts are all done by Zynk. The player sprites are structured differently for the Gameboy so adjustments were made to accommodate the more limited tile space.

There are note worthy changes made to some sprites, i.e. Dr. Wily’s machines in Rockman World 2 are greatly improved (managed to make Wily into his normal size); some minor enemies got improved sprites (e.g. Mag Fly, Peterchy, Returning Monking). AND a new character, Quart, the future version of Roll who was kidnapped from the future and brainwashed by none other than Dr. Wily.

Fight, Roll! For everlasting peace!

Animetic Story Game 1: Cardcaptor Sakura — English Translation Patch Released!

21 March 2017 9:59PM EST - Update by PsionBolt

Translations News - RHDN Project Page

Released by Arika in 1999 for the PlayStation, Animetic Story Game 1: Cardcaptor Sakura retells the first season of the popular anime in adventure game form. With beautiful 2D graphics, full voice acting, and animated cutscenes straight from the TV show, this game recreates the world of Cardcaptor Sakura more accurately than any other CCS game before or since (and there have been quite a few other attempts)!

The light-adventure gameplay is punctuated by an assortment of minigames that step up the action when it’s time to capture the cards. Dodge lightning bolts from the Thunder card, dance to the rhythm with the Flower card, play Simon to sense the location of the Move card, and more. All of these challenges are available both during the story mode and in an endless score attack mode. And if action isn’t your thing, you can always sit down for a round of fortune telling! Everything you do will earn you Sakura Coins, which can be used to purchase a multitude of concept art, voice samples, and so on, including many clips you won’t find in the main story. You can even transfer voices to the PocketStation, if you’re one of the twelve people who own one!

Like the original Cardcaptor Sakura, this game targets an audience of young and old alike, and two players can play together using Family Mode. If you’ve never watched, read, or otherwise engaged with the story of Cardcaptor Sakura before, now’s your chance to grab a spouse, child, or friend and have a laid-back bonding experience. Or, if you remember seeing a show called Cardcaptors on TV around the turn of the millennium, take this as your chance to overwrite that painful memory with the story as it was meant to be told!

This patch was made possible by the hard work of NoOneee, whose hacking extended far past the main script, including adding subtitles to the animated cutscenes, editing all the image text within the game, and even adding dialogue boxes for NPCs who were originally voice-only. Translation and editing were handled by PsionBolt.
