Why is my hack considered a bug fix? O.o It's a hard type and flavor hack... That's not even complete yet (I found out how to use Hyrule Magic to completely hack each dungeon in near completion... Except the editor's terrible and I have near no experience at hacking by advanced means) Either way... I'd just not like people to think my hack's a bug fix... >_> But I don't mind cuz it'll mean more work on the admin's part and everyone hates extra work! LOL.

...

Aw nuts, then why am I posting this for?!

YOU submitted under 'Bug Fix'. I have record of the submission as received... Aside from that, I didn't approve it. Take it up with Dragonsbrethren.

Yes you did. The database does not lie. That is what was submitted to us. Were you by chance using Opera?

So, what do you want it reclassified as you pain in the butt? :P Improvement or Complete?

I'm going to change it whether you give me an answer or not. :P Don't be stubborn. When you release a new version, it's still going to use that entry, so it needs to be fixed.

It's supposed to be a hard type hack. It's the same game, but just a little harder. >_> where would you classify that as?

Well if the game was too easy or simple and you made it a little bit more challenging, then it is an improvement. If you made it like some of those hard type Mario hacks that require save states to pass, then it is an un-improvement  :P -jk

I'm only making it slightly more difficult but in no way changing drastically. The dungeons are the same save for the amount of holes they now have... And spikes... And ... More spikes...

I also put in some new puzzles. You're also made to fight some enemies when you originally didn't have to. Some enemies are also kinda... mutated... O.O

Ok, fine, I guess it goes into improvement.

Mario Kart R rocks!

It sure does! I was surprised when I found out it was not in the inherited database, as it had been out for a long time. Good thing we are able to correct injustices, such as these  ;) :D ;D :P :)

I still can't get this to work. I have a clean dump of the rom (which I just got 10 minutes ago), tried patching it with a header, without a header. Nothing, black screen in all cases.

Quote from: Cowering
When an author of a translation does not specifically list the CRC32/SHA1 of his 'proper' ROM, and does not tell you which IPS program to use, you are GOING to get bad patched ROMS because some IPS appliers are just plain crap when working with some types of ROMS.

I wonder if this is an example of what cowering was talking about  :-\

Anyways, try the patch below it should work with the goodsnes rom named Super Mario Kart (U) [!]

As I've already stated, I did. But just for shits and giggles I regrabbed it and tried again. With header, without header, upside down, back-asswards, nothing. Still a black screen of death.

Must be something you are doing wrong :(. I downloaded Super Mario Kart (U) [!] from a random site just right now and picked a random patching program from this site (ipsXP) and patched it just fine. I can only assume you are not using the one I provided as only the official ips file downloadable on this site shows this black screen.
