Would anyone who has looked into how Battle of Kingdom plays entertain us a bit about how the game goes? I'veonlyfound this video so far (of the Japanese version):https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ssP8K6DNmY
That video isn't a big showcase because the player chose a sloppy slow slime. I know slimes rock in other games, but here they mean you need to press that turbo button or be bored waiting to reach the end of the map. Lesson learnt.
EDIT: OK. I've run it on BGB. Looks to me like the whole entire set of commands you have are:
- move forth
- attack while staying put
- "?" I don'tknow what that one does
- heal (even beyond starting HP??)
- mega super power - err, push opponent back?
Those are selected via left/right, triggered via "A" I think. The rest of the grand user interface for the game uses "B" to select a different monster from your roster, START to select and go with that monster, or "A" and up/down during the initial purchase.
Am I missing anything?
Why choose "boardgame" as genre for this one, over "action" or anything we may have close to "side-scroller"?
