I claim any remaining texual errors in The Legend of Zelda merely reflect the thorough proof-reading process the original game underwent. "EYES OF SKULL HAS A SECRET"?! Not in most versions of English, they doesn't.

Comvoy?

The only name that makes any sort of sense is Convoy, the Japanese name for Optimus Prime. Except that the sprite is Ultra Magnus. (According to Wikipedia, Ultra Magnus was called Convoy in Italy...)

Arg, just thinking about that game makes me  :banghead:

I don't know where anyone got Comvoy, but it's Convoy. I submitted a fix for it.

Well, fine. The guy who did the title screen can't read Japanese.

The Japanese title is clearly "Convoy no Nazo".

You know, 'n' before 'b' is pronounced 'm'. Just saying. ::)

Oh. >.<

Well, I just did that after reading the title screen, and after Great Red said his japanese name is "Convoy". My bad.  :-[

So it isn't a mistranslation? Weird.

Hmm, maybe 'Comvoy' was a way around copyrights, assuming 'Convoy' was copyrighted in Japan and the whole game was an unauthorized use of the TF brandname.

Doesn't Takara (who made the game) own the Transformers brand?

Missed that it was done by Takara (Literacy is your friend  :banghead: )

You're right, Takara does all of Japan's Transformers stuff. I don't have any other ideas to why it would be Comvoy aside from Convoy (and I'm certain that Optimus Prime = Convoy in Japan)

Well, I'll chalk it up to another great mystery of the universe
