Oh boy. Megaman 2 Remix and its nice incomplete Quickman stage that you can't finish, ever.
It's alright for the other eight robot masters though, but you still can't ever finish the game (unless you use passwords to skip Quickman, then you just get regular MM2 Dr. Wily stages though, nothing new there)

Yeah, we're still discussing what to do about incomplete patches. Regarding not being able to beat the game, there are at least 1 or 2 other romhacks we have posted that are the same way.

Update: I just changed Megaman 2 remix's description to read: "for anyone who felt Mega Man 2 was too easy, this is the rom hack for you! Every level(besides Dr. Wily's  Castle) has been reworked extensively to provide a far greater challenge than the original game. In addition, there are a couple graphics modifications, and a slightly different story.HOWEVER... Quickman's stage is unfinished, and can only be beaten with passwords. "

so far i know Final Fantasy ++ (Complete) s a very good hack, since i ve finished it. very professional. it even inspired me to hack ff1 using ffhackster and some gfx-hacking-tools.  >:D
FF2: Demonic Pandemonium (Improvement) is also an intresting hack. it improves alot of ff2 and makes it more logical (yesss spells re really useful in this game)

Blame MM2 Remix still being there on me, I think I played every level except Quick Man's :-[

Yeah, FF++ is great, I've been playing it on my GBA whenever I get the chance. I'd also be playing FF2 DP except FF2 isn't fully supported and sometimes the battles crawl.

I'm about to close voting on the Demo/Sprite hack polls.

It's quite clear, there will be no demo or incomplete patches on the site.

RanMM2 was removed.  Are there any other such patches in the database that should be removed for the same reasons?

I guess you can remove the Elec Man hack, it's good but not all that special. I'm going to try to get in contact with the creator, maybe I can put the sprites to good use.

Yeah, same here. I played most of the stages, but not Quickman's. I was the fool who approved the hack in the first place. I didn't bother to check the readme until after the hack was already added.

I think the name's alright. But maybe a better name would be "Experience exploit fix"

Well, Lenophis gave me that patch and that's what he called it, as far as I know Parasyte never gave it an "official" name.
