Swapped the primary and alternative names. The original Japanese title should be used first with the translated title used as an alternate. The original name of the rom has been made the primary name. Kinda odd that the Japanese title makes more sense than the supposed translated title, but I didn't make the names I just swapped them lol.
  • Games
Just another name swap. The Japanese name is "Lipple Island" and I figure it should be the primary name and the translated name "Ripple Island" should be the alternative. :)
  • Games
The given name for this game was a translated name. The original name attached to the rom file and found elsewhere as the name for this game was not included except in the translation notes of which rom to use. I have made the rom name the primary name and the translated one the "alternative" name. I do believe that should be how it is. :)

Legend of Zelda Challenge Outlands- Zed Edition

Hack of The Legend of Zelda

Description:

This hack came about out of frustration with the hack it’s based on, Zelda Challenge Outlands for Legend Of Zelda on the NES.

This description is going to be rather terse as to not spoil anything but it is enough to say that no changes have been made to the dungeons, only the overworld, which has been considered by many to be needlessly restricting and over-complicated. Thus the overworld is easier to navigate and some items easier to acquire[but at a high price]. However, the number and strength of enemies have been increased to balance things out a bit and maintain a greater challenge than the original game.

This release is considered final. Should any bugs or flaws be discovered, which should be few if any[as this has been played through several times already] please send a PM and the problem will addressed ASAP.

The patch is in IPS format and LunarIPS is recommended. The ROM information is the same as the original patch, as is the readme. For more information on the original hack this is based on please follow the link below.

It is hoped that you all enjoy it and your feedback is welcome in the forums or in a review below.

Update 1.11; It seems that the patch originally submitted was based on an early version of the project. The correct version has now been uploaded. Apologies to all for the mixed up.

Update 1.12; After a report of missing boomerangs and a few glitches a new patch has been made to correct the problems. Thanks to Roy B. for the report. Much appreciated buddy!

Update 1.13; More bug fixes and removal of a glitched cave in the first quest. Thanks to Ted R. for the report!

Update 1.14; An omission of a candle was discovered. Seems I overlooked including a candle in the shops. The Red Candle can now be purchased. Thanks to Jur1sd1ct1on for the heads up!
