I forgot to list B-Run's and Warrax's contributions. I wanted to properly credit the first players of the hack for their bug feedback. Lockirby has been crucial in the location and squashing of combat bugs. Alby4t5 has been crucial in the location and squashing of event bugs.

Automatic Sprint and Learning

Hack of Final Fantasy V

Description:

These patches are small convenience enhancements for Final Fantasy 5. They ensure that the “Sprint” (or “Dash”) and “Learning” abilities are always considered active, allowing you to devote your precious ability slots to other things.

Note that this archive contains separate patches for Sprint and Learning, just in case you want one and not the other.

These patches are quite tiny, and should be compatible with every SNES version of Final Fantasy 5 (Japanese or English: RPGe or J121’s GBA script port), as well as with every existing FF5 patch, as long as your ROM has no header.

ROM / ISO Information:

  • No-Intro Name: Final Fantasy V (Japan)
  • (No-Intro version 20130701-030720)
  • ROM/File SHA-1: E937B54FFF99838E2E853697E4F559359AA91FD6
