Spelling correction of the word "Assohles", I fixed the typo and changed it to "Assholes". I also capitalized the words "French", and "English" in the description section. I got the following errors when I attempted to submit my corrections so I had to download, resize, and upload/change the images as well: 1. Maverick Revenge II

Hack of Mega Man 5

Description:

This is the sequel to my first hack Maverick Revenge for Mega Man IV. This time it’s based on Mega Man V.

I am kinda done with “hacking”, since I still haven’t learned any ASM. Therefore this hack will never be more finished then it is. You can play to the last Wily stage, however you won’t get longer. Also, after the last Proto Man stage it may seem like the game has frozen, but it will go on if you just wait.

Because of that I never learned ASM I couldn’t do what I really wanted - to add Maverick instead of robot masters, therefore the confusing name. I understand it may seem weird, but that’s the explanation.

What you actually CAN do in this hack, to not confuse anyone:

  • Finish all 8 robot masters
  • Finish all Proto Man stages
  • Finish to the last Wily stage
  • Collect ALL MEGAMANV letters, yes they are there but well hidden :)

The soundtrack is also changed.

I tried to push the NES graphic-wise as much as possible, and there I think I did succeed in some ways.
