Not for the faint of heart!

Reviewed By: Ziko on 08 Jan 2017

When the hacker meant hardcore, oh he meant it! This game is not your daddy’s Tetris and it shows in a lot of areas. Great care was taken not only to make the graphics on the tetrominos stand out, but also make the game a lot faster and more difficult as you rise in levels. In fact, the game seems to take a lot from the NES port in that it has the killscreen once you reach past Level 20 which I did not as I stalled at 18 from the insane speed increase. The music is different depending on the version you use for the patch so if you want to here the normal music, make use to use the patch for the 1.1 and above versions.

Beyond all that, it’s really a game for experts as it can wear down even the most casual of players. This game is still great even if it’s the vanilla game but this game is definitely for skilled players. I give it my seal of approval.
