Fairly Goofy Hack

Reviewed By: Klaviaturist on 06 Feb 2011

This one caught my eye because I would never have thought about mixing Metroid and Final Fantasy into one game. In truth, the game is essentially Metroid redesigned with Final Fantasy sprites in place of Samus and the enemies.

It is fairly difficult as well. Since there is no map feature (just like regular Metroid) you’ll get lost quickly. Also, collecting items is somewhat confusing. You’ll get early in the game an item in the shape of stairs. I had no idea what this was for and am still not 100 percent sure what it’s suppose to be. I wish that the hacker had added a readme file with the patch just to help identify certain items.

Nevertheless, if you like both Final Fantasy and Metroid and a new challenge you should probably check this patch out. Even if it’s just to explore about.
