  • Credits
MottZilla is credited in the description, so I figure it made sense to add them to the actual list of credits. (I also gave some info on what Ar8temis008 did, even if it's obvious.)
  • Hacks
Updated description to match README and providing better screenshots. No code changes.

Added author. Removed ALXR and Ti, they are NOT directly involved in this hack, so they should not be credited; they are Special Thanks, which are not also creditable.

Emerald Dragon

Turbografx-CD

Game Description:

Emerald Dragon is a role playing game for the Turbografx-CD.

Translation Description:

This project was started some time ago, and together with the help of NightCrawler (who was working on a SNES translation), we were able to extract text from the compressed blocks, and to understand most of the special codes. I am working with SamIAm (will get him into the database soon) as a translator and tester.

Status as of (2009/10/07) is:

  • Script has been fully extracted and sent for translation.
  • Translation is at approximately 65%.
  • Reinsertion to begin shortly, with a preliminary patch to be released early in this process as a teaser.

Current Status [2/14/2015]: NightWolve has picked up on this project and is making progress on it at the moment. - The project crosses one of the greatest technical hurdles and thus it now becomes clear that it can and will be finished!!! Recompression of the first testing text block with David’s superior LZSS functions back from 2004 (coded for Ys IV) were made to work here and successfully at that! BEHOLD! Project Status: Resurrected with confidence!!!
