Sanma no Meitantei

Nintendo Entertainment System

Game Description:

Sanma no Meitantei is an adventure game for the Nintendo Entertainment System.

Translation Description:

The authors proud to present a patch for Sanma no Meitantei (which the authors chose to call Detective Sanma, along the lines of other “Meitantei” games)! This game is a pretty traditional adventure game, but with a couple of twists. Firstly, the whole cast pretty much are Japanese comedians. Imagine this game being the same, just with the cast of, say, Saturday Night Live, back in about ‘88. Secondly, there are some minigames to spice things up a bit, and the game doesn’t take itself too seriously. Thirdly, it was almost entirely written in a dialect - mostly Kansai-ben/Osaka-ben, for the comedic effect. Overall, it’s a pretty light-hearted game, and it drew the authors’ attention for the above-mentioned reasons. Either way, everything should be translated. Hope you enjoy!
