Breath of Fire Color Restoration

Hack of Breath of Fire

Description:

Replaces GBA palette with the original SNES palette.

Breath of Fire should be just about complete. There may be a situation later in the game that’ll load up the old bright blue text box palette, but I’m not sure.

TODO: Dunno what to do with the battle menu stuff and the portraits, perhaps I’ll just leave them for now.

ROM / ISO Information:

It's back!

Reviewed By: Chronosplit on 19 Jun 2016

There was once another project just like this, but unfortunately it was lost to the tides of time (mainly that of Internet file hosting, apparently). This hack is finally brought back, with the palette problems fixed up with no bugs.

This with Vivify’s text patch is probably the closest we’re getting to a complete fixup of the GBA version. The combo is worth checking out if you don’t mind the musical problems.
