Fire Emblem: Order of the Crimson Arm

Hack of Fire Emblem

Description:

Fire Emblem: Order of the Crimson Arm is a hack which follows the trials and tribulations of Algimas, an up and coming mercenary leader, and a foreign tactician testing their knowledge of warfare on the battlefield. The two set out together to the continent of Fadrel for fame and fortune. Over the course of time, both will go through various events which will decide not only their future, but the fate of many others as well.

This is the final incarnation of a long-running Fire Emblem hack, formerly known as TactHack. As the name implied, the game features a playable tactician, or “avatar” character, in the vein of Robin from Fire Emblem Awakening. General gameplay is similar to vanilla Blazing Sword, with little in the way of large mechanics changes.

See the Serenes Forest thread for further information, including how to replace the tactician’s portrait with whatever the player wants it to be.

Beyond Amazing

Reviewed By: Recca on 16 Dec 2018

Fire Emblem: Order of the Crimson Arm is an amazing ROM hack using Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken (known simply as Fire Emblem in the U.S) as a base. This fan hack is so well made, that it is in this reviewer’s opinion, the best one as of yet. Despite some missing optional support conversations between a few characters (which will be fixed in the next release according to the authors), this project is near perfection. It features custom graphics, unit classes, music, a customizable tactician as well as a very well thought out and written storyline that is of a professional standard. I would greatly recommend that all Fire Emblem fans play this great hack along with The Road To Ruin, The Last Promise and Requiem which are of a similar caliber of excellence.
