Genesis (Mega Drive) NTSC Patches

Hack of Multiple Games

Description:

IPS patches for converting PAL Mega Drive / Genesis and 32X ROMs to NTSC region for 60Hz gameplay. ROMs need to be in .md/.32x format and must follow the naming scheme of No-Intro.

NOTE: Due to possible issues like game breaking glitches, speed differences and music desyncs, one should avoid NTSC patching and use a native NTSC version instead. Patch only when needed or when regional differences justify it.

PAL to NTSC

Reviewed By: aorin1 on 17 Sep 2019

I’ve patched some European exclusives for SNES and Genesis, they’re working fine, and now much better. Everyone should play in 60FPS, the slower 50Hz/FPS versions are optional nowadays, Mega Man Willy Wars, Alien Soldier and others play so much better in 60Hz/FPS.

This must have been a huge undertaking since you basically covered almost all (or every?) PAL games, even the ones that were released in other regions, so I feel I should at least post here again another thank you!
